I offer a mix of services to make everyday life a bit easier: support with children, company for older relatives, someone in your home while you’re away, a hand with errands, and gentle decluttering. Pick what you need, when you need it – no long contracts, just straightforward help.
I offer warm, reliable babysitting and family support for children in their own homes. I’m an experienced childcare practitioner with an Enhanced DBS, first aid, Designated Safeguarding Lead training, and a background in primary education.
Whether you need an extra pair of hands for a busy evening, a one-off day of support, or short-term help during a hectic week, I come to you so your children can stay in a familiar environment.
Because I juggle a variety of services (house sitting, pet care, errands, organising and more) and sometimes work in other parts of the country, my availability changes from week to week.
For that reason:
I do not take on fixed contract, long-term nanny roles.
I do not commit to guaranteed weekly hours.
I do not accept arrangements where I’m the only babysitter/childcare option a family relies on.
Think of me as a flexible, trusted backup – the person you call for occasional, short-term or last-minute support, rather than your main, regular childcare provider.
If that sounds like what you need, I’d be happy to chat about how I can help your family.
The kind of bookings I offer:
My babysitting is designed to be flexible and occasional, ideal for:
One-off evenings or days
Short blocks of support (for example, a few days or a weekend)
Cover when your usual nanny/childminder is away
Extra help during special events or busy periods
I usually work in short, pre-booked sessions, but I can also offer longer-term support when my availability allows, and the family understand I can't be seen as a permanent solution for child care.
Please note: I do not offer care for children with complex needs or complex medical conditions in need of specialised care and support.
Standard Babysitting
Standard rate: £25 per hour
Minimum booking: 2 hours
Note: Bookings are rounded up to the next full hour
Overnight Babysitting
For nights where the children are asleep and I’m mainly there to be on hand if needed:
Evening hours (from 6pm–10pm) are charged at my usual £25/hour
Overnight (roughly 10pm–7am): £80 flat fee
A secured, locked garage/space where I can park and lock my motorcycle is required. I do not do overnight babysitting in houses where I need to park my motorcycle on the road.
If a child is unwell or likely to be awake a lot in the night, we’ll agree in advance whether the later hours are charged at my normal hourly rate instead of the sleeping-night fee.
Travel & Petrol
I travel by motorbike and only use super unleaded petrol. To cover fuel and running costs, I charge £0.35 per mile, calculated on the estimated return journey from my base to your address and back.
I always calculate and confirm the travel cost in advance, and it is paid up front along with the service, so you know the full price and there’s nothing left to pay on the day.
For longer-distance sessions, I may set a minimum booking of a half or full day to make the travel worthwhile.
FREE Local Zone
Travel within about 15 minutes of my base is included in my rates. Beyond that, I charge the standard £0.35 per mile.
Parking
A secured, locked garage/space where I can park and lock my motorcycle is required.
I offer gentle, friendly companionship visits and check-ins for older adults who are still independent at home but would benefit from someone popping by now and then.
This might include:
Having a cup of tea and a chat
Reading, doing a puzzle or watching a favourite programme together.
A short walk (if safe and agreed).
Light help with small tasks, letters, phone calls or simple admin.
A quick top-up shop for basic groceries if needed.
A quick after-visit call to a family member to reassure them all is fine.
I’m there to offer time, company and reassurance – both for the person at home and for family who live further away.
Important: What I don’t provide
I am not a carer or nurse and I do not provide:
Personal care (bathing, showering, toileting, changing clothes)
Lifting, moving or physical assistance that needs specialist equipment
Administering or managing medication
Any kind of emergency or 24/7 response service
My service is for independent older adults who can manage their own personal care but would like extra company and practical help from time to time with small errands.
Please note: I do not offer care services or support for adults with complex needs or complex medical conditions in need of specialised care and support.
Standard companionship: £25 per hour
Minimum booking: 2 hours
Note: Visits are rounded up to the nearest full hour
Check-In & Top-Up Visits
For families who live further away or just want the reassurance of a regular welfare check, I offer shorter check-in visits:
Quick Check-In (up to 20 minutes at the home)
Welfare check, short chat, visual check of the home
£20 per visit
Check-In + Small Top-Up Shop (up to 1 hour total)
Check-in at home, plus a quick local shop for basics
£27 per visit
The cost of groceries is reimbursed separately (I provide a receipt)
If more time is needed than the above, we can simply book it as a standard companionship visit at £25/hour.

Sometimes you just need someone to pop out and sort a few things you can’t easily get to yourself. My local errand service is for small, everyday jobs close to home – especially useful if you don’t drive, are short on time, or have health or mobility issues.
Typical errands include:
Collecting prescriptions or dropping off repeat forms
Picking up a small grocery top-up (up to around 6kg – one small bag of shopping)
Posting parcels and returns, or collecting click-and-collect orders
Dropping keys or documents to a nearby neighbour, office or estate agent
Quick visits to the Post Office, chemist or local shops
I travel by motorbike, so this service is for small, light loads only, not full weekly shops or heavy/bulky items.
Important: What is not included
To keep things safe and clear, my errand service does not include:
Full weekly food shops or large/heavy items
House moves or furniture collection
Transporting people (I never carry passengers – adults, children or pets – on my motorcycle)
Handling large amounts of cash or high-value items without prior agreement
Cost of groceries: The cost of any shopping or items is paid by you separately – I’ll always provide a receipt.
Important – what I don’t carry
For safety and legal reasons, I do not carry or transport:
Hazardous or chemical substances (e.g. fuel cans, solvents, industrial cleaners)
Illegal substances of any kind
Weapons or items that could reasonably be considered weapons
Large amounts of cash or high-value items without prior agreement
If you’re ever unsure whether something is suitable for my errand service, just ask and I’ll let you know.
Because errands are short and local, I keep the pricing simple:
£25 per hour
Minimum booking: 1 hour
Time is charged from when I set off to start the errand until I’ve completed the drop-off back to you
Time is rounded up to the nearest full hour
Important about timing and cost
Errands are charged by the hour, and while I always try to give a realistic estimate in advance, some things are outside my control – for example, queues at the supermarket or Post Office, traffic congestion, roadworks or delays in store systems.
If an errand takes longer than planned because of these kinds of delays, the final cost may be higher than the original estimate, as I charge for the actual time spent. I’m not responsible for delays I have no control over, but I will always keep you informed if things are taking longer than expected.

If your home is starting to feel overwhelming – too much stuff, not enough calm – I offer gentle, practical organising and decluttering support in the style of Marie Kondo.
This is not a cleaning service. Instead, we work together to:
Declutter wardrobes, cupboards, drawers and surfaces
Create simple systems so things have a clear “home”
Tackle piles of “to sort later” paperwork
Reorganise rooms so they feel calmer and easier to use
Let go of items you no longer need, at your own pace
I’m there to support, not judge – we work side by side, step by step, so you stay in control of what goes and what stays.
Important: What I Do (and Don’t Do)
I can help with:
Full planning to declutter your home
Planning where to start and breaking it into manageable chunks
Sorting items into keep/donate/recycle/bin
Reorganising the storage you already have
Suggesting simple, realistic systems that suit how you actually live
I don’t provide:
Deep cleaning or regular domestic cleaning
Heavy lifting that isn’t safe to do alone
Building furniture or DIY beyond very simple jobs
If you’d like a cleaner or handyman as well, I’m happy to work alongside them – but my focus is on decision-making, layout and systems, not scrubbing.
Because decluttering works best in focused sessions, I work in blocks rather than quick visits.
Weekday sessions (Monday–Friday)
£35 per hour
Minimum booking: 3 hours
Typical session: 3–4 hours in one area (e.g. wardrobe, kitchen, paperwork corner)
Weekend sessions (Saturday–Sunday)
£40 per hour
Minimum booking: 3 hours
Typical session: 3–4 hours in one area (e.g. wardrobe, kitchen, paperwork corner)
Day rate (bigger projects)
£220 for up to 7 hours in a single day
Includes short breaks and a planning chat at the start. Ideal for tackling one room or a couple of key areas in one go.

A secured, locked garage/space where I can park and lock my motorcycle is required.
I offer live-in house sitting so your home doesn’t stand empty while you’re away. I stay in your property overnight, keep it feeling “lived in”, and look after the basics so you can relax.
A standard house sit can include:
Opening/closing curtains and switching lights to make the house look occupied
Bringing in post and parcels
Watering indoor plants and garden pots
Putting bins out/in on collection days
Light house-tidying so you come back to a calm space
If you have pets, I can also combine house sitting with pet care, as long as it’s agreed in advance.
Presence in the Home (Not 24/7)
While I offer live-in house sitting, I do not stay inside the house 24/7.
During a typical sit:
I will sleep at the property each night
I will spend a reasonable amount of time in the house each day
I may go out for walks, exercise, errands or a stroll around town during the day
I’m a house sitter, not a security guard, so my role is to give your home a regular, reassuring presence and to look after agreed tasks – not to be indoors every minute of the day.
Food & Home Set-Up
Because I’m staying in your home, I ask that:
There is a clean, warm, comfortable place to sleep (bedroom with bedding)
The home is safe, smoke-free and reasonably tidy
Basic food items are available (for example: bread, pasta/rice, eggs, milk, tea/coffee, simple meal ingredients) or a small food allowance is agreed. I do not require meat to be available.
For longer stays, we can discuss what’s reasonable so that I can eat simple meals while I’m looking after your home.
Bookings & Availability
House sitting needs to be planned well in advance so I can organise my other work and travel:
I prioritise bookings that are made early (the more notice, the better)
I sometimes take bookings around the country, so dates need to fit with my wider schedule
I can’t guarantee to be available for every set of dates, but I’ll always be honest about what’s possible
Last-minute bookings (for example, made within 7 days of the start date) may be possible but:
Are subject to availability, and
Will incur a late booking surcharge of 20% on the standard rate
Local live-in house sitting (no pets)
(within roughly 1 hour / local area of my base)
£80 per 24 hours (Monday–Thursday)
£90 per 24 hours (Friday–Sunday & bank holidays)
Minimum booking: 1 night
Includes my overnight presence, basic home tasks and a daily check-in message if you’d like
A small local radius is included in the price; beyond that but still “local”, travel is £0.45 per mile (return journey)
Long-distance house sitting
(more than around 1 hour’s ride / further afield)
Because for overnight/long trips I take significant weight and therefore more time and fuel, I use slightly different terms for longer distances:
Same base rates per 24 hours:
£80 per 24 hours (Monday–Thursday)
£90 per 24 hours (Friday–Sunday & bank holidays)
Minimum booking: 3 nights
For stays under 3 nights, a 3-night minimum fee applies (you pay for 3 nights even if you only need 1–2)
Travel is charged at £0.45 per mile (return journey), based on E5 petrol and running costs
Short-stay Supplement: For very short long-distance stays (1–2 nights only), where I do agree to them, I may also add a short-stay supplement of £100 to reflect the extra travel time and limited availability for other work.

During a typical sit:

I may go out for walks, exercise, errands or a stroll around town during the day (your dog may come with me on some walks if appropriate)
I’m a pet & house sitter, not a security guard, so my role is to give your home and animals a regular, reassuring presence – not to be inside every minute of the day.

What I Need From You
To look after your pets safely, I ask that:
Your pets are generally friendly and safe to handle (no known serious aggression issues).
You provide clear written notes on routines, feeding, any medication and vet contact details.
I can usually manage simple medication for pets (like tablets in food) if agreed in advance, but I’m not a vet and can’t take on complex medical procedures.
Pet Care Add-Ons (per day)
(Please, look at the house sitting prices above to calculate the full price. Prices below are just the pet add-on.)
These are added on top of the standard house-sitting daily rate:
One dog (2 walks/day, feeding & care): +£15 per day
Two dogs (2 walks/day, feeding & care): +£25 per day
Cats & small pets (1–2 cats or a couple of small pets): +£6 per day
For households with several animals or more complex needs, I’ll agree on a tailored daily add-on in advance.
Pet care add-ons, travel costs and any long-distance minimums will always be confirmed in writing before you book.

Last-minute bookings (for example, made within 7 days of the start date) may be possible but:
Are subject to availability, and
Will incur a late booking surcharge of 20% on the standard rate
I currently accept bank transfer only.
For every booking, I will:
Confirm the total cost in writing (service agreement + any travel)
Give you my bank details and a payment deadline
Confirm your booking only once payment/deposit is received
For local, shorter bookings:
New clients
50% deposit payable in advance to secure your booking
Remaining 50% due on the day of the service, by bank transfer, before I leave (or within 48 hours at the latest)
Existing trusted clients
In some cases I may agree to payment in full after the service, by bank transfer within 24 hours, although those are rare exceptions.
For longer or more complex bookings, I may still ask for a deposit, even if you’re a regular
If payment has not been received by the agreed deadline, I may need to release the booking and offer the slot to someone else.
For house sitting and house + pet sitting, which block out multiple days and often involve longer travel:
A 50% deposit is required to confirm your booking
The remaining 50% is due 7 days before the start of the sit
Your booking is fully confirmed once the deposit and the balance have been received
For very long sits (for example 2+ weeks), we may agree on a slightly different payment schedule in writing, but the standard is 50% + 50%.
For international sits (e.g. in Europe):
All travel costs (flights/transport to and from the sit) must be covered in advance - I usually ask the client to pay in full for any tickets or transfers.
A 50% deposit on the total sit fee is required to confirm
The remaining 50% is due 15 days before the start date
Any non-refundable travel costs already booked (such as flights) are payable in full if you cancel (see Cancellation Policy)
These bookings are agreed case by case and always confirmed in writing.
I travel to you by motorbike and only use super unleaded petrol.
To cover fuel and running costs, I charge £0.35 per mile, calculated on the estimated return journey from my base in Kidlington, Oxford, to your address and back.
As a guide:
10-mile return trip ≈ £3.50
20-mile return trip ≈ £7.00
30-mile return trip ≈ £10.50
Travel costs are always calculated and confirmed in advance, and are paid up front along with your deposit or booking payment, so there’s nothing left to pay when I leave.
Please note: I’m not a cleaning, carer, emergency or medical service. All visits are pre-booked, and I don’t provide personal or nursing care for adults or children – just practical help, companionship and support.
Here on this page, you can find a list of the services I do not offer, although this list might not be exhaustive. If you need support and are unsure if I can help you, please get in touch, and I will be happy to clarify. Before getting in touch, visit my FAQs page. You might find the answers you need there.
● Cleaning.
● Errands to transport highly valuable items.
● Errands to transport fragile, harmful, toxic, flammable items or any illegal substances.
● Care for children and adults with highly complex needs or complex medical conditions in need of specialised care and support.
● Carer services and/or companionship for adults and the elderly who are unable to look after their own personal care (e.g. bathing, going to the toilet, etc.) and require support with administering medication.
● I strictly do not offer transport to anyone as a pillion on my motorcycle, whether it is adults, children or pets.
Before hiring my services, it is important to understand what happens in the case of a cancellation. Due to the nature of the UK weather, some events are unpredictable and can affect your booking. Please, make sure to read my cancellation policy carefully and make sure you are happy with it before getting in touch to book.
Please note that I do not operate during November, December and January. Bookings are only possible from February to October, weather permitting.
